We have adult books, junior books, children's books, audio books, videocassettes, DVDs, and much more available for you to check out! We also have five computers with internet access that you can use! Come by and check us out!

News

"2008 Summer Reading Club"
The Ferris Public Library will be kicking off our Summer Reading Program: 50 Years of Texas Reading with a Western Hoedown this Tuesday, June 17, at 11:00 a.m. and on Wednesday at 11:00 we will have a craft time. Summer program will continue until July 16 in which time children will have a chance to earn various prizes for reading. Rules are available here at the library. Children of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy all the shows and craft activities. All children seven (7) years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult.
On Thursdays at 2:00 the library’s Texas Teens Read: TTR08 program will be held for teens and tweens. We have several fun and interesting activities lined up for this age group. Teens may also volunteer to help out with our younger patrons on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

"Fax Service is Now Available"
The Ferris Public Library is proud to announce that we now offer outgoing fax service to the public! The cost for this service is $2.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page!

"Unreturned Items"
We have several patrons who have checked out items and not returned them. Please check your house, car, etc. and return these items as soon as possible. Many items that are overdue are on reserve for other patrons.

"GED Classes"
Classes are held every Saturday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. To register for free GED classes to be held at the library stop by and fill out a registration form or call Linda Perez, at Navarro Adult Education Department, at 1-800-NAVARRO or (903)875-7464.
